Bands Selection #8 - Super Besse

Après une longue pause, notre rubrique "Bands Selection" est de retour. Pour celle-ci, nous avons demandé à notre groupe biélorusse favori de nous envoyer quelques pistes.

Depuis que nous suivons Super Besse, nous n'avons jamais été déçus par leur coldwave punchy. Pavel, Maksim et Sasha ont déjà sorti deux EPs, mais on attend patiemment leur premier album qui devrait bientôt débarquer! Ils partagent avec nous plusieurs sons rock et punk made in Russia, mais aussi quelques chansons plus électroniques. Une playlist éclectique.

After a long break, our "Bands Selection" rubric is back. For this one, we asked to our favorite Belarusian band to send some tracks.

Since we follow Super Besse, we have never been disappointed by their punchy coldwave. Pavel, Maksim and Sasha already released two EPs, but we are patiently waiting for their first album that must be come soon ! They shared with us some rock and punk sounds from Russia, but also some more electronic songs. An eclectic playlist.

Утро this is a side project of the Motorama. Motorama & Утро play a very good & beautiful music we really love it. 



Труд – Друг
Труд is also a good Russian group, and they are also our good friends, and they have great music and very very soulful lyrics. Maybe they are one of those who inspired us to create Super Besse.



- Future Islands - Vireo's Eye
Future Islands - this is perhaps one of the most popular groups of all of us. probably their live performance is one of the best shows we've seen. 



- Trisomie 21 - Breaking Down
Breaking Down is a song that will sound in your head long after the first listen. They are a great French band.

Super Besse - Насрать на мое лицо

Notre groupe Biélorusse préféré est de retour (oui, on en connait pas des centaines). Super Besse, le trio de Minsk existe depuis déjà 1 an, et ils fêtent cela avec un nouveau morceau (une reprise), Насрать на мое лицо ou comme ils le traduisent si joliment j'ai rien à foutre de mon visage. Fidèle à eux-même, ils naviguent entre post punk et coldwave. En russe et comme d'hab, nous, on aime bien.

Our favorite Belarusian band is back (yes, we don't know hundreds). Super Besse, the trio of Minsk existes for 1 year, and they are celebrating it with a new song, Насрать на мое лицо or as they translate it so beautifully in French, j'ai rien à foutre de mon visage. True to themselves, they navigate between post punk and coldwave. In Russian and as usual, we like.

Super Besse - Musique pour les filles

"Apprends le français, fils de pute." Encore des français bien arrogants ? Non Non, ces garcons viennent de Minsk. Après Musique pour les enfants, voici le deuxième EP de Super Besse, Musique pour les filles.

Pasha, Alex et Max proposent un son post punk relativement direct et entrainant. Les lignes de basses sont particulierement catchy et les synthés avec leurs mélodies 80's et leurs textures vintages créent une atmosphère singulière. Un mélange cold wave / électro punk qu'on apprécie particulièrement.

Les textes sont en russe, ce qui rend plutôt pas mal, mais les mecs, vous êtes trop timides pour chanter en français ?

Pasha, Alex and Max offer a relatively straightforward post punk sound. The bass lines are especially catchy and synth with the 80's melodies and vintage textures creates a particularly exciting atmosphere. A mix of cold wave / electro punk that we particularly appreciate.

Lyrics are in Russian which is definetly cool, but guys are you too shy to sing in French?
