Moullinex - Take My Pain Away

Et c’est encore un délice ! Comme on vous l’annonçait, Moullinex a mis en ligne Take My Pain Away, premier single de son premier album Flora, disponible demain chez Gomma. Doit-on encore vraiment présenter ce producteur ? 

Comme à chaque fois, le morceau oscille entre tube électro et chanson nu-disco. Un refrain simple qui reste en tête. Bref, maintenant on danse !

And it’s again a huge delight! As we were announcing you, Moullinex put on his soundcloud Take My Pain Away, first single of his first LP Flora, and available tomorrow on Gomma Records. Do we need to present this producer again? 

As always, the track swing between electro music and nu-disco style. Lyrics are simple and catchy. That’s all, now we dance!

Sohight - High School

Une chanson, trois remixes, c’est le nouveau EP de Sohight. On vous avait déjà présenté le duo il y a quelques mois pour la sortie de leur premier travail, Boys EP. Originaire du milieu de la Russie, ils produisent de la Nu Disco assez classique mais efficace. 

La recette est la même que la dernière fois pour High School, mélange de synthpop 80’s et d’électro moderne. Les remixes étirent la piste. Parfois orienté dancefloor, parfois plus pop, c’est assez difficile d’élire le meilleur. A vous de choisir ! 

Le tout sera disponible à partir du 13 avril sur Kiez Beats Records.

One song, three remixes, this is the new EP of Sohight. We already presented them to you a few month ago with their first realization, Boys EP. Hailing from the middle of Russia, they produce a classic but efficient Nu Disco music. 

The recipe is the same as last time for High School. It’s an interesting mix between electro pop and disco music. It’s difficult to say which remixe is the best. 

It will be available from April 13th on Kiez Beats Records.

SoHight - Boys EP

Perdu au milieu de la Russie, non loin de la frontière du Kazakhstan, deux amis, Yaroslav and Stephan composent ensemble sous le nom de SoHight. Ils viennent juste de sortir leur premier EP hier. 

Tout d’abord, on aime beaucoup le nom de leur label : Yeah!/Dish Records. Après, on doit aussi admettre qu’on apprécie leur son. Ils ont réalisées deux pistes, Boys et Stardust pour cet EP. On a l’impression que le tout à été enregistré à la fin des années 70. Leur musique est bien rythmée, mais parfois les claviers sont un peu trop kitsch. 

Il ya aussi quatre remixes de Boys pour continuer dans le même esprit. Pour nous, le plus accrocheur est celui de Moustache Machine.

In the middle of Russia, not far from the Kazakhstan border, two friends, Yaroslav and Stephan are playing together under the name of SoHight. They just released yesterday their first EP today. 

First, we like the name of their label: Yeah!/Dish Records. After, we must admit that we also appreciate their sound. They made two tracks, Boys and Stardust for this EP. It just seems that they were recorded at the end of the 70s. Their music is nicely rhythmic, but sometimes keyboards are too kitsch. 

There is also four remixes of Boys to continue in the same spirit. For us, the catchiest is the Moustache Machine’s one.
