Rain Sword - Memories

Back to basic, ça ne peut pas faire de mal! Des synthés rétro, une boîte à rythmes, et une atmosphère kitsch: on ne se trompe pas, on est bien en train d'écouter Memories, la dernière production de Rain Sword. L'américain a enregistré ce titre en hommage à Edgar Froese, décédé le 20 janvier dernier, notamment fondateur de Tangerine Dream, une des formations pionnières du Krautrock dans les années 1960.

Back to basic, it will not hurt! Retro synths, drum machine and a kitschy atmosphere, we are not mistaken: we are listening to Memories, Rain Sword latest production. American has recorded this song in tribute to Edgar Froese, who died on January 20, founder of Tangerine Dream, one of the pioneers of the Krautrock wave in the 1960s.

Dans la lignée de Mitch Murder ou encore Miami Nights 1984, on est fier de vous présenter Rain Sword. Vous l’aurez compris, direction la DeLorean !  Ah, 1984, année d’insouciance, de légèreté et de rêves…

Miles Roger (pour les intimes) remplit l’espace sonore de sons analogiques très typés 80’s donc, mais avec une certaine émotion. Et c’est là le point fort de l’américain ! Vous vous laisserez rapidement happer par cette vague déferlant dans vos oreilles, à grand renfort de beats disco et de nappes de synthé qui vous laisseront rêveur. Sans s'en rendre compte, le pied bat le tempo, la tête se balance instinctivement de gauche à droite, on en redemande!

Miles Roger (for short) fills the sonic space with very typical 80's analog sounds, but with some emotion. And that is the main strength of the american! You quickly get trapped by these synth waves, disco beats and synth pads that leave you dreaming. Without noticing, the foot swing tempo, head swinging nonchalantly from left to right. We want more!
