On ne change pas une équipe qui gagne, le trio anglais Funkystepz fait à nouveau appel au français Big Dope P pour remixer leur nouveau single "Bring Me Back" en featuring avec la superbe chanteuse anglaise Lauren Mason. Le résultat ? Un bijou chill-footworkesque aux sonorités UK Garage à découvrir sans plus attendre.
L'EP contiendra également un remix de DJ SKT ainsi qu'une version VIP de Funkystepz et bien entendu, la version originale. La sortie est annoncée pour le 21 Octobre.

The winning connection Funkystepz & Big Dope P is back with "Bring Me Back", Funkystepz new single. After "Amsterdam, Girls Go Wild", it's the french MPC don's second remix for the london crew. And this time, it's all about some chill footwork vibes and Uk Garage sounds. Pure jewel.
Funkystepz EP will contain the original song and this remix alongside reworks from DJ SKT and Funkystepz themselves and will be released october 21st.

Et pour ça, rien de telle qu'une petite musique doucerette... On pense avoir ce qu'il vous faut pour ça avec Azure Blue, le projet solo d'un certain Tobias Isaksson. Le nordique a sortis en décembre un album de saison, Rule of Thirds.
Venu du Nord, le suédois nous fait partager sa vision de l'océan à grand renfort de murmures, de beats marqués et de nappes de sythé profondes. Le résultat donne une musique aux forts accents Chill-Wave, qui reprend les codes et les valeurs du surf rock. Au final ça donne un son à mi-chemin entre la gaieté naïve et la nostalgie.

The only thing we need is that case is a good and soft music... Actually Azure Blue, Tobias Isaksson's solo project sounds perfect for that! The guy from the North released in December it début album, Rule of Thirds, that is perfect for winter.
The Swedish guy shares it vision of the Ocean with wisphering voices, vintage beats and deep synthetizer waves. The result is a Chill-Wave music mixed with a surf-rock touch. Finally, the sound is between naive joy and nostalgia.
So get prepared to take off your socks and to dream.
