Il y a un an et demi, on découvrait sur Vocododo le premier morceau d’Atlas Genius. A l’époque Trojans nous était reste en tête une bonne partie de l’été. Apres un EP plutôt sympa au printemps dernier, les australiens vont faire le grand saut avec un premier album, When It Was Now prévu pour la semaine prochaine.
If So, en premier extrait montre bien que ce groupe est monté en puissance et que c’est loin d’être fini. C’est rythmé et joué avec fougue et fraicheur. Ces garçons ont parfaitement compris les règles du genre électro rock, synthés et guitares ne sont pas là pour faire tapisserie.
Au même moment sort le premier album de Strange Talk, un autre groupe australien au style assez proche. Il va y avoir de la concurrence !

One year and half ago, we were discovering the first track of Atlas Genius. After a pretty cool EP last year, the Australian band achieves a new step with a first album, When It Was Now, due for next week.
If So, the first extract shows that this band is still growing. The pace is good; they definitely know rules of electro rock music. They will maybe find some concurrence with the first album of another Australian band that is producing a quite similar music: Strange Talk. Good luck guys!
