Waek - Supervision

Waek, c'est le trio électro qui monte doucement mais surement. Un peu comme Pyramid, les lyonnais savent allier mélodies poétiques, claviers synthétiques et rythmiques dancefloor. Chaque chanson est une ambiance, une atmosphère différente qui nous invite à imaginer et rêver de nouvelles histoires. L'influence de Daft Punk est évidente. Chez Vocododo, on est très optimiste pour eux. Vous le serez aussi après l'écoute de leur EP Supervision.

Waek, this is the electro trio that is rising slowly but surely. A bit like Pyramid, these boys know how to combine poetic melodies, synthetic keyboards and dancefloor rhythms. Each song is a different atmosphere that invites us to imagine a new story. The influence of Daft Punk is obvious. We are very optimistic for them. You will be too after listening to their EP Supervision.

Crayon & Pyramid – So Far Gone EP

Deux excellents producteurs electro français sur un EP.

L’un flirte avec un son disco/funk où la basse groovy est loin d’être paresseuse : Le Crayon.
L’autre a un style à la fois plus mélodique, cosmique, futuriste mais peut être aussi un peu plus violent : Pyramid.

Deux producteurs, deux genres qui se mélangent à la perfection sur un très bon EP chez Kitsuné : So Far Gone ! Nickel !

Two nice french electro producers for one record.

One flirts with a disco/funk sound where the groovy bass is not lazy : Le Crayon.
The other has a different style, more melodic, cosmic, futuristic but also a little bit more violent: Pyramid.

Pyramid - The Frontier

Pyramid est le projet électro d’un jeune étudiant lyonnais. On vous l’avait présenté ici, il y a plusieurs mois et depuis on regarde régulièrement ses actualités. Peu à peu il commence a bien se faire connaitre. Ses productions sont à chaque fois propre et généreuse. 

Cet été nous avons découvert The Frontier, une chanson spatiale et hypnotique. On aime l’ambiance, la texture et on écoute avec plaisir toutes les pistes qu’ils partagent sur son soundcloud. 

L’aventure sonore ne va pas s’arrêter demain !

Pyramid is the electro project of a young French producer based in Lyon. We talked here about him last December. Little by little, he becomes more and more famous. His productions are always very nice and we always enjoy listening to his new tracks. 

This summer we discovered the spatial and hypnotic song, The Frontier. Again, you cannot be disappointed and you want more!

Pyramid - Rising Day

On essaie tant bien que mal de promouvoir des artistes français, et c’est pourquoi le nouvel EP de Pyramid est le bienvenu. Ce garçon se présente lui-même comme "un simple étudiant lyonnais d'une vingtaine d’années", mais il semble qu’il s’y connaisse un peu en musique électro. Au début de l’été, il nous avait déjà agréablement surpris avec son premier album, Lost In Space et notamment la très bonne piste Digital Rain. 

Intitulé Rising Day, ce nouvel EP propose cinq nouvelles chansons. Le style ne change pas, le son est toujours aussi profond, et les chansons, tout en restant très rythmés sont sensibles. Cela me fait d’ailleurs penser à Douze, un autre artiste français à découvrir. Si vous aimez l’électro légèrement spatial, vous ne serez pas déçu. 

Achetez l’Ep de Pyramid et financez les études de cet étudiant français !

We try as much as we can to promote artists from France, our dear country, and that’s why the new Ep of Pyramid is welcome for us. This guy say to present himself that he is "a simple student of 20 years old, coming from Lyon", but it seems that he know a little bit about electronic music. At the beginning of the summer, he had already impressed us with his first album, Lost In Space containing crazy tracks such as Digital Rain. 

Entitled Rising Day, this new EP proposes five new tracks. The style doesn’t change, the sound is deep, and songs are expressive but remain very dynamic. It makes me think about Douze, another very nice French artist. If you like slightly spatial electro music, you will not be disappointed.
