On the menu today: a not very recent track (march 2011) but it's nice, it's hot, so let's be crazy.

Jupiter is based in Paris. However, it's in London that the duo met, on an empty dancefloor, between two  hits a little too retro. Today signed on the Kitsuné Label, since some time, this couple gives us some good electro-pop vibes. While they are actively working on their first album, they let's us wait with a japanese style title, Saké, presents on the last Kitsuné Parisien compilation and on a new EP with a lot of remixes (from Para One, In Flagranti or Electricity). This disco-pop hymn transports us in a real 70's musical flashback, very present in this retro-nippon clip directed by the design studio Tu Sais Qui.

So let's say thank you, la Maison Kistuné.

The Italo-germanic duo is back with an 70/80’s influenced production. After the ironical Live Fast Die Old (featuring in particular Asia Argento), Munk offers us a powerful single: Rue de Rome. At last, we are faced with the famous Italo-Disco style (dixit Tsugi) of the duo with The Bird and the Beat, record strongly « female », as it enjoys a host of female featuring as the Parisian Clara Cometti from Koko von Napoothe, the Berlin Mia von Matt, the Brazilian Joyz Muniz, Sarah Ze!, or Lou Haytwer from the group New Young Pony Club of London.

This video directed by Doublezero (the label of Nicolas Viegeolat and Nasser, naturally) presents an old couple of freaks nutters with drugs and robberies, this taking place in neighborhoods of Marseilles. The Bonnie and Clyde of the 70’s mediterranean city.

In short, a rock ‘n roll clip for a particularly catchy title.
