Le duo italo-germanique remet le couvert avec une dernière production aux influences 70/80. Après l’ironique Live Fast Die Old, en featuring avec Asia Argento, Munk revient avec un nouveau single des plus efficaces, nommé Rue de Rome. Nous retrouvons enfin le fameux style Italo-Disco (dixit Tsugi) du duo avec The Bird and the Beat, disque résolument « femelle », puisqu’il bénéficie d’une foule de featuring féminin comme la parisienne Clara Cometti de Koko von Napoo, la berlinoise Mia von Matt, la brésilienne Joyze Muniz, Sarah Ze!, ou encore Lou Haytwer du groupe londonien New Young Pony Club.
Ce clip réalisé par Doublezero (la boîte de Nicolas Viegeolat et de Nasser, forcément) met en scène un vieux couple de freaks barjos, avec drogues et braquages en tout genre, le tout se déroulant dans les quartiers de Marseille. Les Bonnie and Clyde de la Cité phocéenne des années 70.
Bref, un clip rock ‘n roll pour un titre particulièrement entraînant.
