Jamaica - Hello Again

Jamaica c'est un peu une version musclée de Chateau Marmont. Après une (trop) longue période d'absence, le duo parisien revient sur le devant de la scène gonflé à bloc. Hello Again sonne comme un SOS, un appel de détresse. Un son lourd donc, accentué par des guitares saturées et une batterie qui frappe là où ça fait mal. Un très bon single qui sera suivi d'un nouvel opus, Ventura, prévu pour mars prochain.

Jamaica is like a muscular version of Chateau Marmont. After a (too) long absence, the Parisian duo come back to the front stage. Hello Again sounds like an SOS, distress call. A heavy sound, accentuated by overdrive guitars and a drum which hit where it hurts. A very good single which will be followed by a new album, Ventura, scheduled for March.

Theme Park - Theme Park

Premier album pour Theme Park. Disponible depuis quelques jours, cet album éponyme est un bon condensé de rock funky.

Le trio anglais continu de nous proposer des morceaux où la basse se dandine langoureusement autour de guitares sereines et  décontractés avec une touche légèrement désinvolte et des synthés planant  Un son propre et une production net. Néanmoins, l’album s’essouffle un peu sur la longueur, avec assez peu de variations et un manque d’intensité. Il y a tout de même quelques titres à rajouter à votre playlist !

First album for Theme Park. Available since a few days, their self-titled opus is a nice digest of funky rock.

The English trio is still proposing nice tracks where the bass is waddling around serene and relaxed guitars with a slight touch of casual. A clean sound and a serious production. Nevertheless, the album runs out of steam at the end, with little variations and sometimes a lack of intensity. There are still a few tracks to add to your playlist!

Van She - Jamaica

C’est le tube électro rock du moment, alors on pouvait difficilement ne pas en parler. 

Jamaica, le dernier morceau du groupe australien Van She est aussi leur second single avant la sortie de leur album, Idea of Happiness. Les deux chansons sont toutes les deux bien catchy, le synthé et la guitare dansent ensemble et les refrains sont plutôt entêtants. 

Bref, ça devrait vous plaire !

Jamaica, the last track of the Australian band Van She is the second single from their upcoming album Idea of Happiness. They are both catchy summer songs with nice guitars and heady chorus.
