Yuksek - Living On The Edge Of Time

"Living On The Edge Of Time", c’est donc 11 titres électro pop/rock d’influences diverses.

Two years ago Yuksek became known thanks to "Away from the sea", his first album. It was definitely an Electro and club album, an important success. Today Pierre-Alexandre Buisson is making a 180 ° turn with "Living On The Edge Of Time", a more pop and new wave album.

Like many electro artist, Yuksek wanted to adapt his music to live, to give it depth. This is how he has completely transformed his style by making it less aggressive but more melodic, his songs have gained flexibility and finesse.

Thus, In "Living On The Edge Of Time" there are 11 tracks of electro pop/rock of various influences. In this heterogeneity, we can find "Off The Wall" which could have been the last single of Cut Copy, "On A Train" promises to be one of the summer hit, but also the choruses of "Dead Or Alive" with whom we are not ready to be fed-up. Hard to say, which songs will remain…

But those who expected a Dancefloor album might be a little bit disappointed.
