The Egg - Catch (The C90s Remix)

ф

What is a cowbell ? According to Wikipedia, it is “an idiophone hand percussion instrument used in various styles of music including salsa and infrequently in popular music”. Got it?

Anyway, you must have guess that the latest remix made by the British duo The C90s is full of tiny but catchy cowbell sounds. The track is terribly disco and happy, even if the original song of The Egg was already quite cool.

We already talked about them here, do you remember ?

Quakers & Mormons - New York Town (The C90s Remix)

Faisons simple. New York Town à été composé par Quakers And Mormons.

Let’s be simple. New York Town was composed by Quakers and Mormons. Several artists such as Xinobi or Casa Del Mirto have already remixed this mysterious Italian duo. New York Town is one of their last track and maybe one of their best songs.

The C90s just released a remix for this song. Danny & Jamie are used to work on classic electronic track in order to give an 80’s disco sound. You will be able rediscover their remixes…

Even if you are not crazy about the original New York Town (Not so good), you may appreciate this version. A much catchier one.

Lazydisco - More Tigers

More Tigers!

The excellent Portuguese label Discotexas (Moulinex, Xinobi, Justin Faust ...) shows us one of its newest members: Fred Oliveira better known as Lazydisco.

The first EP of this young Portuguese fits perfectly with the spirit of the house: funk, disco and electro. "More Tigers" is a great discovery. The effectiveness of the piano as a rhythm guideline for making us dancing doesn’t need to be demonstrated again.

Finally, this EP is composed of the original track (strongly disco house oriented), and six remixes. But it is already very promising since famous names like In Flagranti or C90S took pleasure to rework the song. It’s your turn to listen and find which one you will enjoy the most.
