On vous parlait il y a quelques mois de Bad Girlfriend et de leur dernier morceau, Feelings (c’était ici). Les quatre filles glam' vous vous souvenez ? On découvre cette semaine le clip qu’elle ont sortie pour Tricky, une des pistes de le leur dernier EP.

Quand on regarde la video, on se dit que New York c’est ville plutôt cool, et que avec leur look, Christian, Brianna, Lyla & Savannah auraient pu être les petites copines des Ramones dans les années 80’s.

C’est donc l’occasion de revenir sur leur EP qui date du printemps dernier, quatre chansons à la fois garages et délicates. Et c'est Gratuit sur Bandcamp!

We were talking a few month ago about Bad Girlfriend and their latest track, Feelings (it was here). Do you remember these four ladies? So, we discovered on Facebook the video they made for Tricky, extract of their last EP.

By watching their video clip, we just want to say that New York is a cool city, and that with their style, Christian, Brianna, Lyla & Savannah could have been The Ramones’girl friends in the 80’s.

Anyway Tricky and the Ep is nice, a kind of controlled garage rock. For free on Bandcamp!

Bad Girlfriend - Feelings

Une petite touche féminine pour la fin du weekend ! Christian, Brianna, Lyla & Savannah forment Bad Girlfriend, un groupe de rock garage de New York, un groupe jeune comme en atteste leur page Facebook. Apres un premier essai et la sortie leur premier EP au printemps dernier, elles reviennent avec une nouvelle piste intitulée Feelings.  

Ce n’est pas exactement du rock garage, mais le son de leurs instruments et la voix nonchalante de la chanteuse montrent un certain amateurisme, et une forte inspiration 60s. Moins violentes que d’autres groupes de filles comme Dum Dum Girls ou Veronica Falls, leur son est plus sexy. On aurait presque envie de les voir s’énerver un peu plus. Cela peut vous rappeler The Cramps, mais en moins sale et moins torturé bien sûr.

A woman's touch for the end of the weekend! Christian, Brianna, Lyla & Savannah are Bad Girlfriend, a garage rock band from New York. After a first try with the release of their first EP during last spring, they record a new track called Feelings. 

It’s not exactly garage rock, but the sound of the instruments and the nonchalant voice of the singer show a kind of amateurism, and a 60s inspiration. We like this strong bass. Less violent than other girls bands such as Dum Dum Girls or Veronica Falls, they sound sexier. It may remind you The Cramps, but less dirty and less tortured of course.
