Honom - The Journey Clip

Pour le disco, il y avait ABBA en Suède, maintenant il y a aussi Honom! On exagère un peu, mais ce gars-là sait comment nous faire danser sous la boule à facette. Son dernier titre, The Journey Clip nous donne envie de vous faire écouter quelques-uns de ces derniers travaux

Il s’est débrouillé pour donner une deuxième vie a l’un des titre culte de Madonna, Holiday. Son édition, Swedish Disco Holiday prend une tournure à la fois funk et nu-disco. Son remix de Boom pour Lo-fi-fnk n’est pas non plus déplaisant. Sebastian Uzieblo aka Honom est un enfant des 70s.

For disco there was ABBA in Sweden, now they have Honom! We exaggerate a little bit but this guy knows how to make us dance under the disco ball. His last track, The Journey Clip makes us want to present you some of his last works.

He managed to give a new life to Holiday, a hit recorded by Madonna in 1983. His edit, Swedish Disco Holiday brings a funk and nu-disco touch. His Remix of Boom for Lo-fi-fnk is also not unpleasant. Sebastian Uzieblo aka Honom is definitely a child of the 70s!

Lo-Fi-Fnk - Boom

Lo-Fi-Fnk va sortir son deuxième album "Last Summer" le 17 aout prochain. Les deux suédois Leo Drougge et August Hellsing avaient déjà réalisé un premier album "Boylife" en 2006, c'était il y a déjà bien longtemps. Mais c’est d’avantage par des titres plus récent comme Want U (d’ailleurs apparu sur la compilation Kitsuné Maison 6 en 2008) qu’ils avaient pu se faire une petite place sur les playlistes Electro pop. 

Bien que le premier single soit attendu pour le 27 Juin, on peut déjà écouter Boom et ainsi avoir un premier aperçu de ce que pourrait être leur deuxième opus. Et là, C’est souvent l’album de tous les dangers : confirmation ou noyade dans la masse? 

On ne peut pas dire que la piste soit d’une grande originalité, surtout avec son titre mais elle garde une certaine fraîcheur appréciable pour la saison. Rendez-vous fin aout pour la suite.
