On se balade dans Brooklyn par une chaude après-midi, les oiseaux chantent, les enfants jouent avec les bornes d’incendie (oui, comme dans les films américains), le marchand de hot dog installe son chariot… et Andy States joue Kidnap Me. Cruiser c’était à l’origine son projet solo mais c’est aujourd’hui un groupe. Pop joyeuse,et décontracté. Plutôt pausée pour une chanson qui parle de kidnapping.

We have a walk in Brooklyn by a hot afternoon, birds are singing, kids are playing with a fire hydrant (yes, it’s like an American movie), one is trying to still a hot dog, a dealer is selling some weed… and Andy States plays Kidnap Me. Cruiser was his solo project at the beginning, but it is now a band. Joyful and relaxed pop. Quite casual for a song about kidnapping.
