On ne poste pas souvent d’électro de ce genre mais parfois on a juste un bon feeling et on en demande pas plus. 

Si vous aviez apprécié Moonbootica, vous devriez également aimer The Chosen Two. C’est le projet de deux copains de Berlin (Evidemment !) et leur derniere piste, Nancy's Room est la bienvenue sur le dancefloor. C’est groovy avec un petit coté minimale sympa.

We don’t post so much electro music of this style but sometimes you have a good feeling with a sound and you don’t ask anything else. 

You might have appreciated Moonbootica, you will like The Chosen Two. This is the project of two guys from Berlin (of course!) and their last track, Nancy's Room is welcome on the dancefloor. A groovy song with strong minimal influences.

Pas vraiment connu, mais plutôt de qualité, le travail du producteur russe Serj V devrait plaire aux amateurs d'électro aux influences vintages et parfois tropicales. 

Bref, son remix de Liquid Ice Cream est assez cool et c’est surtout une excellente occasion de découvrir ces autres morceaux.

C'est ce genre de son que l'on va écouter pendant tout l'été ...

Le producteur français Chateaubriand a fait un énorme travail pour donner une nouvelle vie à la chanson Lover’s Carving de Bibio.

Indeed, Leitbur (pronounced light-brr) is the solo project of Jaron widman, a young producer from California. Think of Tomorrow is the first single from his upcoming EP that will be available next month. This track is delightful.

On vous avait brièvement parlé de Pompeya il y a quelques mois avec le remix de 90 par Korablove, cette fois-ci on vous présente le dernier album du quartet, Foursome. Dans la catégorie électro rock, Pompeya est le porte drapeau de la Russie. La musique de Daniil Brod, Denis Agafonov, Sasha Lipskiy et Nairi Simonianis est plutôt addictif.

It was in our mailbox this morning. We discovered Tallinn Daggers and their last EP, Fm Transmission. This Estonian electronic pop duo seems to be a bit famous in the country. God Bless The Radio sound like a forgotten track of New order and Not A Sin will convince you that England has no monopoly for rock music....

The KDMS - Kinky Dramas and Magic Stories

Il y a un an on découvrait avec délice Tonight des KDMS leur clip retro-décadent façon la chute. On s'en souvient comme si c'était hier... il faut dire que le groupe, signé par l'excellent label allemand Gomma, connait la recette pour nous donner envie de bouger. 

Il y a d'abord cette bonne basse, obsédante, omniprésente qui n'a rien à envier à celle des Whispers. Et puis il y a la voix entraînante de la Diva Kathy Diamond qui se pose parfaitement dessus. 

Bref on va pas s'étendre, juste souligner que des bon disco en ce moment c'est assez rare et ça vaut le coup de prêter l'oreille!

One year ago we were delightfully enjoying the KDMS with their song tonight and its retro-decadent clip for the first time. We still remember that time as if it was yesterday... Actually it is not surprising as the band is produced by the excellent German label, Gomma. 

Those guys perfectly know how to make us shake. First there is that obsessing and omnipresent bass guitar comparable to the one of the Whispers. Then there is Kathy Diamond's diva voice that perfectly fits. 

Anyway, no need to talk more about it. It's just another Disco record that is worth listening and it's quite rare in 2012!

Future Loves Past, c’est un nom un peu étrange on vous l’accorde pour un groupe de folk. On a découvert le groupe de Phoenix avec leur premier EP éponyme. Les six américains proposent une musique simple mais très agréable. C’est une rencontre entre le son rock des années 70 (The Feelies par exemple) et la folk moderne que font des groupes comme Noah and The Whale, The Leisure Society ou Real Estate. Les chansons sont riches en mélodies.

Future Loves Past, what a strange name for an indie folk band. We discover them with their first eponym EP. The six American musicians propose a simple and nice music. It is a meeting between 70’s rock sounds (The Feelies for example) and modern folk band such as Noah and The Whale, The Leisure Society or Real Estate. Songs are rich in melodies.

The Present Moment - Loyal To A Fault

The Present Moment n’est pas un groupe vraiment nouveau mais on se demande pourquoi on en n’a pas entendu parlé plus tôt. Il y a quelque mois, Scott Milton et Philipp Munch sortaient leur second opus, Loyal To A Fault. 

Cet album devrait vous plaire si vous appréciez les sombres sons de la new wave des années 80, les mélodies torturées et ensorcelantes. Cela dépend des morceaux, mais l’on peut trouver des influences post punk, synthpop ou même industrielles. Avec une bass très présente et une boite a rythme infatigable, on ne s’ennuie pas.

Motorama - To The South

Parmi les groupes que l’on suit attentivement et que l’on apprécie beaucoup, il y a Motorama. 

Leur son est pure et entrainant, c’est à la fois délicat et léger par les guitares, et rapide et dense grâce au couple batterie bass. On n'ose pas parler de la voix de Vladislav Parshkin (oui le groupe est russe). Leur dernière chanson, To The South est aussi bien que d'habitude.

Among the groups that we follow carefully and that we love, there is Motorama.

Their sound is pure and heady, it is both delicate and light by the guitars, and fast and deep thanks to the bass and drums couple. We do not forget the nice voice of Vladislav Parshkin (yes the band is from Russia).  Their new song, To The South is as good as usual!

Apres Sommet, on reste dans le même thème : Les montagnes. 

Mais avec Glaciers, on parle de dream pop, le genre de musique douce relaxante et apaisante. C'est la première démo de ce jeune groupe australien, et c'est un bon début. Bc est une chanson pleine de fraicheur.

Nevertheless, with Glaciers, we are talking about dream pop, the kind of soft music that makes you relax. It is the first demo of this Australian band, and it is a good beginning. Bc is full of freshness.

Le duo français Sommet nous a dévoilé il y a peu le premier single de leur premier album éponyme (bientôt disponible). Sous le nom de Sommet, Clément Bonnet et Sébastien Rosat produisent une sombre et profonde musique électronique où les influences krautrock sont assez nettes et tranchantes. Leur son est au final assez proche de celui d’un autre duo français bien connu, Zombie Zombie. 

Base Camp est piste puissante et hypnotique. 

Au fait il n’est pas impossible que vous ayez entendu un de leur titre dans une des dernières pubs de Renault.

The French duo Sommet has revealed the first extract of their upcoming eponymous album. Under the name of Sommet, Clément Bonnet and Sébastien Rosat produce a deep and dark electronic music with strong krautrock influences. Their sound is not far from Zombie Zombie’s music.

Lunar Apex - Shaft Funk

L’artiste suedois Lunar Apex nous offre aujourd’hui une chanson assez sympathique avec une bonne ambiance funky. Shaft Funk est une bonne piste pour débuter la soirée. 

Sous le nom de Gyllensand, il a aussi produit un remix assez doux du classique "Somebody That I Used To Know".

The sweden based artist Lunar Apex offers us an interesting song with a funky vibe. Shaft funk is a good start for a nice evening. 

Under the name of Gyllensand he also produced a soft remix of the classic "Somebody That I Used To Know".

Waek - Bellum

Le moins que l’on puisse dire c’est qu’ils ont de l’énergie à revendre. 

Falgas Turbo et Bellum sont les dernières pistes produites par Waek, un projet électro de trois étudiants lyonnais. La première chanson est assez dense, les claviers sont fougueux et la bass est joueuse. Bellum est plutôt original, on y entend des samples du Moyen Age ou presque….

Falgas Turbo and Bellum are the last tracks produced by Waek, an electro project of young French student based in Lyon. The first song is quite dense, keyboards are fiery and bass is playful. Bellum is original, using medieval samples…

Cosmonaut Grechko - Headphone Girl

Notre dernier coup de cœur habite sur les bords de la Volga, à Saratov en Russie. Il a 20 ans. 

Viktor Klyuchnikov ou plutôt Cosmonaut Grechko a compris comment nous faire danser et rêver en même temps. Parmi les nombreux ingrédients de son délicat cocktail, on trouve des synthés aériens, des sons exotiques, des samples intelligents, des mélodies naïves, des beats soignés… Sa dernière piste, Headphone Girl est incroyablement tendre. Un voyage spatial !

C’est promis, on vous reparlera très vite de lui ! En attendant vous pouvez aussi apprécier un de ses camarades Юность.

Our last crush comes from the banks of the Volga River, from Saratov, in Russia. He is 20 years old. 

Cosmonaut Grechko or Viktor Klyuchnikov has understood us: You will dance and dream at the same time. Some ingredients of the receipt are aerial synths, exotic sounds, gullible tunes, and catchy beats. His last track, Headphone Girl is incredibly tender. 

We will definitely speak again about him! A space trip! Meanwhile you can also enjoy one of his fellow Юность.
